
The AFRIMS Research Support Section is responsible for providing administrative support to the AFRIMS scientists on matters related to:
- Research Support is responsible for providing an administrative support on matters related to Scientific Review of Human Subjects Research, Management of the protocol life cycle, Clearance of AFRIMS Publication, maintenance of AFRIMS protocols databases and CRADA, MTA, MOA, MOU, LOI tracking Record.
- Training Coordinator will coordinate the intra and extramural training activities related to military readiness. Coordinates with local and international scientific and academic institutions the training of personnel visiting AFRIMS and manages the AFRIMS master training database.
- Biostatistician is responsible for providing advice and training in statistical analysis and study design to AFRIMS investigators who may be carrying out laboratory, animal or human studies. The biostatistician is also responsible for statistical review and assessment of animal protocols submitted to the Institute's IACUC."
The AFRIMS Research Support Section is directed by the Deputy Commander for Science, COL Arthur E. Brown, with administrative support provided by research support staff.
